Dyes, Auxiliaries and Chemicals

Solubility, identification of dyes, colour strength K/S of dyed fabric, dye migration, recipe prediction, Ganz whiteness of OBA treated samples, effectiveness of different dyeing assistants, dyeing and printing trials, dye-fastness to light, rubbing, washing, sublimation, perspiration, etc., viscosity of print paste/thickeners, tack index, pH, salt content, insoluble matter, silica content, etc. Acidity/ alkalinity, total hardness, total dissolved solids, chlorides, sulphates and iron content in water sample. Ash content, purity, active and solid contents, boiling point, melting point, specific gravity/density, ionic nature, cloud point, etc., for different chemicals.

 

Coal, oil, Thermic fluid :

 Analysis of the above is undertaken to help industry reduce its energy costs and control pollution. Fuels are analysed for moisture content, calorific value, ash content, flash point/fire point, carbon residue, etc. 

 

Eco- Testing

Banned amines released from azo dyes or dyed printed fabrics and other materials. Analysis of formaldehyde by Japanese Law 112 method and by AATCC Sealed Jar Method. Analysis of pentachlorophenol, Pesticide residue analysis, Analysis of heavy metals at trace levels -
(Cu, Cd, Co, Cr, Zn, Pb, Ni, As, Hg) 

 

Water and Effluent water (complete water analysis):

Temperature, pH colour, Total Organic Carbon, Suspended solids, Dissolved solids, COD, BOD, oil and grease, phenolic compounds, chlorides, sulphides, sulphates, nitrogen, cyanides, heavy metals, etc. 

 

Ambient air and stack monitoring : 

CO2, O2, H2, SO2, NOx, Suspended particulate matters (SPM).

 

Noise Pollution and its monitoring : Sound pressure levels, equivalent continuos levels, peak levels, percentile levels, octave-band spectrum or 1/3 octave band spectrum, cumulative and level distribution, sound level profile, etc.
